Jenna, age 20. I live in New Jersey but my heart is in Chicago. Basically, this blog is just a whole lot of yelling about the dumb things that I enjoy. I participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World for the Fall 2011 Program. I worked at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney and, lemme tell you, being part of the WOD Squad was pretty great. If you wanna know more about me, just click this little thingy right here.
I also co-run a blog dedicated to music that relates to the various characters and ships of Black Butler. You should follow it if you enjoy Black Butler and/or good music that is sometimes serious and sometimes ridiculous. You can find it here.
I spend most of my time screaming about shinigami things with Will and Eric, Alan, and Ronald. They keep my life DEADLY~ exciting.

Grell, and Grell, and …btw Grell
Seconded. I have about ten outfits in the works for Grell right now. WHOOPS.
So I caved and finally bought Grell’s dress for formal balls~ I’m so in love with it, you don’t even know. I have shoes picked out for it, as well, and I think I might get those soon. I want to wear black opera gloves, too, but I’m not so worried about getting my hands on a pair of those any time soon unless I really want to.
I don’t even know when I’ll be attending a ball but I adore this dress and I’m paranoid and would’ve hated to let it slip away from me/not have it in time for a prospective occasion~ It was only $100, though, which is unheard of when it comes to dresses like this nowadays.
Ahhhhh, I’m just really really excited to get to wear this out somewhere.
I swear to God, every pair of shoes I buy for Grell is gonna be like $70+. This is ridiculous.
Warning everyone now, you should probably stay away from Mel and me when we attend a formal ball at a con as the Grelliams because we’re going to be insufferable and inseparable. Not that we already aren’t when we’re the Grelliams but still, moreso than usual.
I just bought pants for Circus Grell and I think Imma go to the thrift store in the next few days to see if I can find shoes for Cheshire Grell just because I really don’t feel like spending $70 on them if I don’t have to. I’m also gonna go to JoAnn Fabrics and see if I can get some fur fabric and some other stuff for all the little details for both Circus and Cheshire Grell.
I think I’m gonna retake my measurements and then I’ll order Cheshire Grell’s full costume by the end of the week since it’s gonna take a while for it to get here. I also need to hammer out the final design for Circus Grell’s little top hat and then commission it from a designer on Etsy that I found. I’m also toying with the idea of getting a new wig since mine is going to take a lot of work to get back to a presentable state, work that might include wefts and I do not have the know-how for that right now. But we’ll see, I suppose.
I’m making way more progress with this than I thought I would be at this point, though! I’m nowhere near finished but still, I feel pretty good so far.

I am pleased. And it was only like $16.
Also, I think I’m very close to finding a suitable pair of shoes for Cheshire Cat Grell. Awww yeaaaah.
So many cosplay things to do, oh my God.
I need to:

The Seven Deadly Fails of Cosplaying Grell Sutcliff.
1. Shirt not tucked in
2. No red glasses
3. Not binding
4. Improper collar
5. Tie not tied in place
6. Eyebrows not red
7. USING YOUR REAL HAIR/DYING IT
SERIOUSLY
Don’t fucking do any of that when cosplaying Grell. Tuck in your goddamn shirt, tuck your boobs, and get a fucking wig.
